I chaperoned Lauren's field trip to Red Butte Gardens yesterday. We went on a guided 3-mile hike, which was great except that it had rained the day before and it was SO wet and muddy! We were all slipping and sliding, and a lot of shoes were completely ruined! At one point, we saw a rattle snake ON our path, and our tour guide was like, "Okay, everyone, take a giant step back and be quiet until the snake slithers away!" Its tail was rattling and everything! It was quite an adventure and a very fun day :)
