Last night, Lauren was being really sassy, and mouthing off to me. I put her in time out for 7 minutes. When I went in to talk to her after, I said, "I expect an apology." She replied "Mom, I'm so sorry." "Sorry for what?" I asked (wanting her to understand what she did and why she was in time out). She says, "Mom, I have been in here for so long that I forgot what I am sorry about. But I know I'm really sorry!"
